The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic and personnel activities for Revenue Cycle, including provider enrollment, coding, compliance, claims, payments, credit balance, insurance reimbursement, and self-pay management. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for Mankato Clinic. Responsible for providing support for, and participating in, contract negotiations with third party payers. The position is a key liaison between the third-party payers and the clinic ensuring that all receivables related issues are addressed timely, appropriately and in a professional manner. Act as a liaison to other areas of clinic operations regarding revenue management, particularly as it relates to registration, patient accounting, coding, and compliance.

This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The Director has four direct reports including two managers that oversee 48 employees.

Preferred qualifications include college graduate with B.S. Degree in business or related field and Ten (10) years of progressively responsible management experience in a medical group practice or hospital business office and at least five years in a related leadership role. Strong communication and analytical skills, proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office products and revenue cycle systems, extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, particularly as related to physician services. Certification in coding or medical billing preferred but not required.

Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screening, health assessment, and background check.
